Nickelodeon Yanks Legend Of Korra Off TV, Shoves It Online
Y'know just today my whole family sat back to enjoy the last few episodes of Legend of Korra on our Tivo and EVERY time commercials showed up I repeated out-loud 'thank god my kids don't watch the other Nickelodeon shows' because everything looked like such ridiculous devoid-of-quality crap. Hearing Disney Channel blaring on the tvs in my house bugs me a lot, but compared to most Nickelodeon shows, they are AMC (wait, does Disney own AMC yet? I need to do some Walking Dead pin swapping!). I digress.

Legend of Korra, Nickelodeon was beneath you anyway.

We STILL seem to have a RANDOM ARCHIVE GLITCH where clicking on the next comic will take you to the next comic page, but oddly display a comic from a totally different date. Hitting Refresh sometimes helps. We're working on it!

HEAD'S UP: I'm looking forward to Contra-26 in Kansas City this November! Hope to see you there!

INTERVENTION5 AUGUST 22-24 ROCKVILLE!

I found this script-conundrum interesting! Panel 4, balloon 3. Should it be:
1) “His last word was ‘boobs.’  He’d like that.”
2) “His last words were ‘boobs.’  He’d like that.”
3) “His last word(s) were (was) ‘boobs.’  He’d like that.”
The problem is people have ‘last words’, not ‘a last word’ but Sam’s ‘last words’ were(was), in fact, A WORD. So #1 seems most grammatically accurate, yet #2 captures the feeling of the statement best. And #3 was just in my original script as I tried to walk the line between #1 and #2. And I am amused a little bit as #2 works a little better than it might purely because boobs are plural.  *shrug*
